In this project I show you how to convert a 220-240v A.C. PIR Floodlight to a 12v D.C. 10 watt LED for use on a 12v battery supply. Both construction and circuit board changes are covered in detail. Circuit description and information on using the PT4115 integrated circuit to control LED current.
The 10 watt 12 volt LED (cost £1) and the PT4115 module (cost £2) can be found on eBay. For the PT4115 module search for “Car battery 12V ~ 24V constant current LED drive driver power supply 10W”.
